WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN

Two examples of colourful, gold-enriched, decorated pages created for the workshop
The last event on the Palazzo Falson Christmas calendar was held on Saturday 27th December. This was an art-making workshop for children which focused on the decoration of illuminated manuscripts. During the workshop museum volunteer Valentina Lupo showed the children images of illuminated manuscripts in the Palazzo Falson Collection and other collections. Emphasis was laid on the different types of decorations which embellish and enrich these manuscripts.
Children were provided with prepared papers which they were then asked to decorate and colour in the style of the examples that had just been shown to them. The workshop ran throughout the day and participation and use of materials was completely free of charge. Parents of children who are interested in attending future workshops organised by Palazzo Falson are kindly requested to contact us on [email protected] to give us their details.
