Crafting Clay: Handbuilding Vases in collaboration with Three Doors

April 25, 2026

Our first workshop from the Crafting Clay series is tailored for children aged between 8 and 12 years.

Led by Sue and Gary from Three Doors, this hands-on session invites young creatives to explore a variety of clay techniques while crafting their very own vases. Drawing inspiration from the unique pieces in the Palazzo Falson collection, children will learn, experiment, and bring their ideas to life in a fun and creative environment.

Participants will also enjoy a short visit around Palazzo Falson, where they’ll discover and explore a selection of vase pieces from the collection, sparking more inspiration for their creations.

After the workshop, the pieces will be fired, and the participants will be contacted again to collect them from the museum when ready. Please note that while every care is taken during the firing process, clay pieces may occasionally crack or break in the kiln due to the nature of the material.

Date: Saturday 25th April 2026
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Ages: 8 - 12 years
Ticket price: 40 euro and 38 euro for Members of Palazzo Falson, non-refundable

Booking required as limited spaces available - send us an email on bookings@palazzofalson.com

Meet the Artists

Meet Sue and Gary, from Three Doors, guest artists for our upcoming clay workshop from the Crafting Clay series. Three Doors is a homegrown creative studio where love, adventure, and artistry meet. Founded by a couple who live for exploration and expression, every handmade ceramic piece reflects the balance of calm and chaos: vibrant, experimental, and deeply human. Join us on 25th April for a hands-on clay session for children aged 8-12 years. Children will get their hands dirty and create their own vase inspired by the collection at Palazzo Falson. They will be guided on the different clay techniques by Sue and Gary.
