In a ceremony held on the 30th November, Maurice de Giorgio was awarded the Silver Medal ‘for his outstanding and significant contribution to Maltese cultural heritage and to the achievement of architectural excellence in Malta through his admirable restoration of the Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum in Mdina – a work of perseverance and the most meticulous attention to detail and the achievement of the very highest standards of conservation and presentation’.
