Palazzo Falson is participating in the forthcoming Mdina Medieval Festival which is being held on Saturday 18th April and Sunday 19th April, with two events which celebrate the Kantilena, the earliest piece of literature in Maltese, which dates back to the 15th century. These events, which are being organised in conjunction with the Akkademja tal-Malti, will consist of lectures and readings of the Kantilena by linguists and medieval historians, including Prof. Godfrey Wettinger who, together with Patri Mikiel Fsadni, had discovered the Kantilena, Prof. Stanley Fiorini, Prof. Manwel Mifsud, Dr Martin Zammit and Mr Toni Cortis. The lectures will be held between 10 and 11am on the 18th and 19th April in the medieval refectory area at Palazzo Falson. Participation is free of charge however entrance will only be guaranteed if places are booked in advance by calling on 2145 4512 or sending an email on: bookings@palazzofalson.com. Entrance tickets to the Museum will be discounted by 50% throughout the Medieval Festival.
