During 2008, Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti in collaboration with A&AB Films worked on a documentary entitled Olof Frederick Gollcher – One Man and his Dream. This documentary charts Olof’s life, while at the same time unfolding the splendour of Palazzo Falson and its collections.
Olof spent his life pursuing and accumulating numerous splendid works of art, which were ultimately intended for the general public to enjoy, and in restoring Palazzo Falson, Patrimonju has fulfilled Olof’s wish. This documentary is a fitting tribute to an interesting and selfless man, whose generosity touched so many during his lifetime and beyond. The Maltese version of this documentary, Olof Frederick Gollcher – RaÄ¡el b’Viżjoni, will be aired on TVM on Friday, 3rd July 2009 at 17.00, and repeated on Sunday, 5th July 2009 at 13.05.
