Palazzo Falson has loaned three paintings by Edward Caruana Dingli from its collection to the exhibition: Edward Caruana Dingli (1876-1950) Portraits, Views And Folkloristic Scenes.
Two of the paintings on loan from the Palazzo Falson collection are family portraits while the third is a watercolour view of the Boschetto, which is not normally on display but is kept in the reserve collection at the Museum.
The forthcoming exhibition, organised by Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti, showcases some 250 paintings by the renowned Maltese artist Edward Caruana Dingli (1876-1950), bringing together works sourced from private and public collections, both local and foreign. The exhibition, at the Presidents' Palace, Valletta, opens on the 8th May 2010 and runs till the 6th June 2010. Opening hours are 10:00 - 17:00hrs (last admission at 16:00hrs).
