Last month we celebrated International Museum Day dedicated to ‘The Future of Museums: Recover and Reimagine’.
We are happy to share with you one of the creative collaboration projects we had with third year students from the Department of Digital Arts - University of Malta. The students (BFA in Digital Arts) worked closely with Palazzo Falson team to be inspired by the museum, its narrative and its collections. Equipped with a sound understanding of the museum, the students' task was to 'reimagine' the museum through their own eyes and create interactive presentations that could be implemented as part of Palazzo Falson's digitisation strategy.
We are delighted to have the opportunity today to share with you a video clip created by one of the groups of the Digital Arts students! The focus was on our Pollinator Haven, an environmentally friendly space on the museum roof terrace with indigenous and Mediterranean plants and flowers that attract pollinators to help improve biodiversity.
We wish to congratulate all the Digital Arts students and their tutors for their creative collaboration that resulted in bringing our audience closer to the ambiance of our museum.
We hope you enjoy this video.
